ISA - Intelligent Sensing Anywhere is an award-winning international company specializing in Telemetry and Remote Asset Management, and a global leader in different market segments. ISA exports products, applications, and solutions which are recognized and implemented the world over, in the fields of electronics, software development, telemetry, and control. Applications can be found for the Environment, Energy Efficiency, Oil&Gas logistics, Building Management, and Healthcare.

Founded in 1990 as a spinoff of the University of Coimbra, ISA now numbers over one hundred people, with offices in France, Spain, Germany, and Brazil and local agents all around Europe. The R&D centre is located in Portugal, where about one half of the ISA team is fully dedicated to innovation and the development of ground-breaking products and solutions.

ISA is currently working out an ISO 9000 certification process that will warrant the quality of the entire chain, starting with the conception and design of the product, going through its production and testing stages and ending with the after sales service. This complete control of the design and manufacturing chain is helping ISA to meet deadlines and guarantee our customers the maximum quality.

RESEARCH and DEVELOPMENT

Continuous innovation is recognized by ISA as the only way to keep the market competitiveness of our technologically advanced products. To face this reality ISA invests a large portion of the annual revenues in its own R&D department that includes highly talented electronics and computer engineers capable of carrying out the most ambitious industrial projects. PEOPLE

ISA was founded in 1990 by a highly qualified team of engineers and physicists with solid expertise on electronics, instrumentation and software design. As a spin-off company of the University of Coimbra, ISA leverages the large experience acquired over more than 15 years developing electronic and data acquisition systems to the most demanding clients as the European Space Agency, worldwide nuclear fusion laboratories and multinational industrial companies. Our staff includes several PhDs and MScs. Since we are certain that their knowledge and skills are our most vital asset, people working for ISA are permanently encouraged to attend conferences and training courses.
